Warranty Policy

1. Overview

Valve Warehouse Australia Pty Ltd (‘Valve Warehouse’, ‘we’, ‘us, ‘our’) is committed to providing high-quality products. This Warranty Policy outlines our commitment to addressing any manufacturing faults or defects in the products offered on our Site. This policy operates in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

This warranty forms part of our Terms and Conditions.

2. Warranty Coverage

2.1 Duration:

We provide a full manufacturer’s warranty for 2 years from the date of purchase. If your product is found to be defective due to improper workmanship or materials during this period, we will, at our discretion, repair, replace or refund the product.

Note: Certain manufacturer brands may include longer warranties. For example, Philmac products may come with an extended warranty beyond 2 years, as specified by the manufacturer.

2.2 Parts Availability:

If specific parts or materials are no longer available, we will use equivalent substitutes or offer an alternative product.

3. Claim Process

3.1 Steps to Claim:

To claim under this warranty, you must:

• Notify Us: Email us at info@valvewarehouseaustralia.com.au with proof of purchase, a description of the defect and relevant photographs.
• Return the Product: If requested, return the product, including all original packaging (if applicable) and any documentation, to our address.
• Provide Information: Supply any other information we may require from you to process your claim.

3.2 Return Costs:

If your claim is approved, we will reimburse the reasonable costs of returning the product.

4. Exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

• Third-Party Damage: Any defect caused by third-party installation, misuse, negligence or failure to follow our guidelines;
• Cosmetic Damage: Damage that does not affect the product’s functionality;
• Wear and Tear: Normal wear and tear, or damage due to corrosive conditions or abnormal use; or
• Natural Events: Damage resulting from events beyond our control, such as natural disasters.

5. Additional Costs

Any additional services or repairs requested outside the scope of this warranty may incur charges, which we will inform you of beforehand.

6. General Provisions

6.1 Governing Law:

This warranty is governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and is valid only in Australia.

6.2 Non-Transferable:

This warranty is for the original purchaser only and cannot be transferred.

6.3 Severability:

If any provision of this warranty is held to be void, invalid or unenforceable, that provision (or part thereof) will be severed from this Warranty without affecting the validity or enforceability of the remaining provision(s) to the extent practicable, and the balance of the Terms will remain in effect.
